I think you would be incorrect anyway, if that oft-cited CTC page is accurate. In that case I will forebear from adding and in times of poor viability, if you have lights.

To the 6 roadies this morning, seen riding in the semi dark and fog with no lights. Well, I say "seen", but "barely saw and even then only once I was uncomfortably close".
How can you possibly see cyclists, they come out of nowhere apparently? Unlike trees, parked cars, road signs. You know that bit about being able to stop in the distance you can see? That is for other people.
Exemption for incipient apoplexy - that kind of thing? You know that bit about being able to stop in the distance you can see? That is for other people.
its going to happen no matter what but just some common sense will help allAnd the ones with lights who still get wiped out?
true but if we all take care and use common sense then its got to help to a degreeI am afraid i don't think it will. It is an ongoing one way street with ever increasing expectations of the degree to which we protect ourselves from the sources of the danger.
You mean like making sure we are able to stop within the distance we can see to be clear? Yes, I agree that would help.true but if we all take care and use common sense then its got to help to a degree
Seemingly notDo we have a Room 101 still? It would save time.
You would hope. In (mumble) years of cycling, I've had two major crashes. The first, the driver, admitted his window was misted up so didn't see 14 stone of yellow jacketed Cateye lit cyclist heading towards him, so I got a ride on his bonnet. He got three points and £120 fine. 10(?) years later concussion, wrecked bike, four stitches and head f*ck courtesy of someone who ploughed into me on a roundabout. Again I was lit up and doing the right things. This time the police took no further action.true but if we all take care and use common sense then its got to help to a degree
We are the rules!I actually thought they may be teachers. Rules do not apply to them you know.
You see idiots everywhere. Even on bikes.
guys what @Drago says is correct and yes we all know it
I used to notice that with my ex.We are the rules!
