I've already dealt with this. It really depends what your view of moderators are and how literally you take the guidelines (I wasn't even talking about P&L and Peanut rarely went there, ironically the problem was on subforums trying to become friendlier). There is a much more nuanced view than simply someone was shockingly rude. If you read things like Arch said, (in fact she said the same thing to Peanut) then there are no grounds for flagging. I'm not particularly fond of this view as if it is the case you then get back to the same issues I previously mentioned. I'm not convinced that the moderators see any of what I'm talking about because they were parts of these threads that have been contentious! The threads were all train wrecks in slow motion. Moreover flagging something up reinforces the them and us mentality and the whole outsider thing, which is why I'm very reluctant to do it, along with the other reasons I've outlined of which I believe my post should be taken in entirity.
