I thought top shelf mags would die a death*, what with the internet and all....

(*possibly that of a choked chicken, or a bashed bishop)

Completely off topic.

Whilst out for a walk (proper boots and bobble hat type of walk) with my brothers and our wives over Christmas we made our way along a disused rail line, now converted to a footpath. There strewn among the brambles was the remains of a dismembered jazz mag. Not seen that for years, once common (and a prized find) in my childhood of the '70s, now something rendered virtually extinct with the arrival of the internet. Oh how we reminisced......

Does it have a chiller cabinet? If so, a box of Dairylea triangles please, next week's Radio Times, and pocket sewing kit.

Hmm, not back with the goodies yet? I think it's time to round up a search party just in case - let's rendezvous in the pub at the bottom of the hill. I'll grab a table for us all.
