If you upgrade to windows 10 after four weeks your existing recovery partition will no longer work, add to that there is a good chance your windows 7 laptop / pc might not be up to running windows 10 and will eventually refuse to boot (i know this to be fact having repaired a good number of upgraded win 10 laptops).
If you decide to upgrade to 10, go into the start up settings and make sure any anti virus software is set to delay start as i have found it can stop windows 10 from booting properly.
Edit; your windows seven recovery partition will be non functional and you will not have any sort of recovery partition as windows ten has a "refresh" function.
