(not a topic for discussing the rights and wrongs of the date, the Mayan calender etc etc) personally I believe that it is just a calender marking a progression in time and we will all be safely tucking into our Christmas dinner as usual this year but if it was established that the movie was correct and the world ends on this day what would you like to have: done/completed/faced/overcome etc this year.

The only rule is you must mention at least one cycling related thing:

Be down to 13 stones so I'm not pedaling as much unnecessary weight around.
Oh, and World Peace.

If I was definitely DEFINITELY sure that the world would end then, I would sell all my non-cycling/camping items, fly to Australia asap (preferably with the misses - but she might have other priorities) and spend the rest of this planet's life cycling around Oz.

I'd like to shag my wife's best friend with a bike at the end of the bed.

If it was 100%, absolutely certain that the world was going to end, then I would I like to face and confront my tendency to believe anything I'm told.
I would also wash my bike after my ride on 20/12/12. (see above)

I hate flying but have always fancied having a go at hangliding. Perhaps attach a bike to a hanglider and then go and ride off the nearest cliff and see what happens. If I survive that then I would like to spend the rest of the time somewhere warm and sunny hanging about maybe try surfing, becoming a bit of a beach bum having a few drinks, maybe smoking a few herbal woodbines whilst wishing for porld weace (I mean world peace) watching the last ever sunrise then put my head between my legs and kiss my backside goodbye.

Knowing my luck I will have won the lottery on 15/12/2012 and the bike I ordered won't have been in stock until the 22nd

As for what I would like to achieve this year, climbing Ventoux/ D'Huez and a few others should be a good starting point.
