Probably not - no real idea about what they ask for though.

We don't have much in common in the way of hobbies, have vastly different educational backgrounds and different tastes in music and TV.... but we got together somehow over 14 years ago and are still happy with 2 kids.:biggrin:

I was on Soulmates for quite a while. Went on a lot of interesting dates and met lots of fun people. I even made it onto their top 20 for a couple of months (not quite sure how...).

I think you can get far too caught up in trying to meet people that match up to a list of requirements (a la Kevin Bacon in Tremors). I met my current wonderful girfriend by getting drunk in a marquee and just grabbing her by the hand. Sometimes the old ways really are the best.

Not that old chestnut.

I tend to rely on the 'send a valentines card and sign it so there are no mixed messages' technique. It worked 30 years go.

I sometimes wonder where I would be if it hadn't.

Who was that Canadian stand-up someone linked to from CC a week or two back...."I had a one night stand that went disastrously wrong....we've been married for three years now"

That is excellent -

On a more serious note, your life can take a radical change following a simple and seemingly unimportant event.

I've been pondering this all day. I think we might. We tend to tick the same boxes. The odd thing is that we are so completely unalike.
