Takes me back to my Merchant Navy days. When sailing east or west, changes of clocks were an almost daily occurrence. The time change was split equally between the 3 watches (shifts) so that each shift did 20 minutes extra (or less, depending on direction of travel). Start and finish times were a bit confusing until you got the hang of it.
Mostly have done the same, but on one ship a particular watch did all the clock changes, so 5 hours in one direction and 3 in the other. Used to be a different Watch for each round crossing
