I think we would all agree, but it should be remembered that this based on the experiences of people who like cycling.

Negative correlation between commute length and happiness? Ha! :laugh: For motorists, perhaps.

I quite enjoyed the transition from an 8km to 28km commute. Almost 1 year on, I'm still loving the longer commute.

Thats something I notice. I will ride around the long way just for fun. It doesnt take me any longer. I know other cyclists who do this too. But I also know many drivers who will drive 1 mile to work and take every shortcut they can.
