It was a beer commercial and that Sykes was crawling along the bar counter, I can't remember much more than that, I did loads of commercials back then they tend to blur, suffice it say I rose to a little under mediocrity doing them. I don't know or care if they are on tube face.
Boddingtons?

Can't stand the show, but I must admit I am a little intrigued as to how Carl Fogarty will get on as he was a whiny little sod at the best of times.
And Vicki Michelle is in there too  although I must admit a few Years have probably passed since I was a youngster drooling over Allo! Allo!

I prefer my telly not to make me feel like I've stuck a Henry up my nose and sucked my brains out. This idolisation of mediocrity really boils my piss.

Me too. I saw a bit on the BBC site about it, I've only ever heard of two of them, and one of them was because I was in a commercial with her about 20 years ago. I guess celebrity is in the eye of the beholder.

Is this you? Or were you the bloke with a fish on his head?

It is an awful programme but then it shows real life interaction between people put in a situation. This is far better than the contrived and nasty plots that pass for real life in Eastenders etc.

I have a bit of a soft spot for Melanie Sykes and would watch the Myleen Klass style shower scene that there is bound to be, but this will not quite be enough for me to sit through the rest of it.

Ahhhhh! That's who Melanie Sykes is!

So, Melanie and Vickie. Might flick the TV on for a couple of minutes then, just out of interest.

I am getting on a bit and so get told off for looking at younger celebs by Mrs OTH. So Melanie (at 44) is OK.

Also she is amazingly fit and I think she did some lads mags in her 40s. Most celebs seem to age very badly but she has bucked the trend and got better with age.

Sorry I know this is very sexist but lets face it that is why half the women are in the programme.

I would rather paint my love plums with treacle and sit on an ant hill for an afternoon that watch 30'seconds of a bunch of botox'd has beens moaning. If I were getting paid 80k for 6 weeks work I'd keep my yap shut and bank the cheque, thank you very much.

In fact, I've an idea fora more interesting version of the show, staring Gary Glitter, Stuart Hall, Rolf Harris and Charles Bronson.

I saw Carl Fogarty outside an electrical store in 1995. He was walking towards his flash car with a store employee wheeling a small toaster sized box on a little hand truck behind him.
