I'm sure she's not drawing any salary from the public purse while she's off doing this...

Really don't understand the fascination with any of these types of programmes, Jungle, Strictly, Et al, struggle with the whole 'Celebrity' culture, especially the Famous for being Famous type, just looked at the contestants I know one Amir Khan, think I've heard of Shappi Khorsandi (only because I think she was on Radio 4 the other day) , the rest I have no idea.

I "get" Strictly as you get celebs actually committing a load of time to learn some very difficult skills. And it's great to see them work really hard and manage it. If it were ordinary folk then I don't think the story would be as compelling

But sitting around for most of the day without enough to eat isn't a journey so I'm not bothered about I'm a Celebrity. It also looks to me like the level of celebrity is reducing each year, or is that me becoming old and out of touch?

Donating her salary to charity, or her fee for appearing with And and Dec?
She is donating her salary (which would amount to about £2,500 if she's away for 2 weeks) and also a proportion of her fee for appearing (her fee and the "proportion" have not been disclosed)

Not satisfactory in my book. She's paid to do a job out of the public purse, and if she's not doing it she shouldn't be paid, no matter how laudable the final destination of the money.

Verging close to politics here I guess, but so far it seems to be about an MPs behaviour when they're not actually doing any politics, so I'm cool thus far.

Should Kezia Dugdale be suspended from the Labour Party for taking part? Shes hardly representing her constituents is she? On the other hand she could be doing great PR work for Labour?

#notpolitics
Its been a PR disaster for Labour in Scotland already, stole the limelight from the leadership result, New leader hinted at her suspension, Corbyn said she should'nt be suspended, New leader backed down on suspension, numerous claims of bullying towards Kez

Yes it is, I have always wondered how a Minister's constituency feels, surely they have less time to look after them whilst they are being a minister, surely being in the jungle for 3 weeks is not any worse?

But a large part of her job is to promote the ideology and cause of the Labour Party?
She is doing this for Kez not for Labour, she always said politics where a stop gap she is now on full on "Kez the media star" mode, got her eye on Laura Kuensbergs job i reckon
