I'm angry - and I've waited 6 months to say this

Am offended he calls himself a cyclist like me! I ride all weathers not when he want to write an article and feels like it, in fact, when it snowed, I was the only one in work, everyday, and everyone else drives/walks! And am on slicks! I dont RLJ, I postion myself correctly, and if am not at the front, so be it, am not going to feed my ego for the chance to be fed through a straw. I dont ride on pavements. The risk of hitting someone is not worth my own risk. Or the mess my bike will be in from curb jumping constantly.

All he's doing is stiring a hornets nest and is just and ignorant as that "Anne" from Liverpool! No doubt a Chelsea tractor driving wag! Grrrr!!

And yes I carry a donor card and I give blood, so sod ya Ken, again from Liverpool! Am sure theres more chance of my generosity beneifitting a car on car accident through ignorance than a fellow cyclists!

..well I've left my comments under "djc" (my initials) so it would be interesting to see if they're published.

The article writer is obviously a pillock out for a fight but with none of the staying power to back up his arguments sensibly. He's simply written a derogatory article towards cycling and cyclists and naffed off. How very noble.

I can deal with idiots, I see them all the time. Rifkind however is the very excuse drivers need to campaign against our legal use of the roads.

When was the last time you found yourself stuck in traffic where the only thing in front were about 30 bikes ? Answer never - For me as a cyclist it's the sheer amount of cars that inconvience me and slow me down.
