I was going to post this the other day, but thought it wise to leave it a couple days in case something horrible happened. It hasn't.

Yes, laydeeeze and gentlmeeen, I give you Maggot, the 10 mile cyclist:biggrin::biggrin: On saturday I did a 10.54 mile ride (it was the first time I have used my new Garmin as well, although Mrs Maggot has used it almost daily for her running!), this is my first significant ride since my back operation, and boy did it feel good!!! I am lucky enough to be married to a physio, so I won't be rushing to do more mileage too quickly, but I am amazed that exactly 5 weeks after my operation I have been able to do this (easy, flat and very slow) ride. It was even better because MiniMaggot came with me to keep me company, and as part of his training for our Easter holiday. I could barely eat the cake in the garden centre for grinning:blush:

So, the world is damn fine with me at the moment:biggrin:
