He arrived today wearing a fairly mundane rain jacket. Cheeky boy has climbed up on to the Sofa of Retirement Goodness and has cuddled up to me and gone straight to sleep.

I dog sit for Daughter #3 while she's at work. Its not unusual for Gaylord to turn up wearing a doggy coat or T shirt, or occasionally in his pyjamas, but this is the first time I've seen a dog in a hoodie.

He is quite cute but I hate dogs in clothes. It's just wrong.
Small dogs tend to shiver, it's not always due to the cold. Sometimes it's nervousness and sometimes it's a learned response because it gets attention. Sometimes it's just a small dog "thing" - like jack russells lifting one back leg when they run, they don't have a stitch.

I saw a dog wearing a nappy last week! What is that about? It's a dog, if it needs a wee find somewhere appropriate to walk it.

I've no idea what breed it was, something small. I've enjoyed owning dogs in the past but for the life of me can't see the pleasure in owning small, toy breeds. Too many people with too little time want to own these animals.

Apparently you can get horse nappies. However, they do look daft, and as horse riders place appearances above the safety and comfort of two wheeled road users and pedestrians we get the mess smeared all over the roads.
