I find it a pain in the ass, but as cycling is my primary mode of transport it has to be done. It is not just the feeling of having damp clothes on my skin, it is all the faffing about when I get home having to take everything off then find somewhere suitable to put it to dry without it dripping everywhere, then having to wipe the bike's drivetrain with a kitchen towel to reduce the risk of rust on the chain. Then, when I have done all that I have to try and get the stuff dry ready for the next day. Shoes in particular are a bugger to dry overnight, although I have found newspaper works well. And this is in addition to being sprayed with dirty water when I get overtaken, the stinging when a large raindrop lands right in my eye, and the more hazardous nature of the road surface due to the crap washed off the hillside and verges.
No, I can't see what is enjoyable about it myself, if someone can enlighten me feel free.
