I have never said I am more British only what makes someone British. Read the previous posts rather than bringing on a personal attack because you disagree with my comments or views.
Calling someone a moron is fairly personal, non?

what i dont understand though...just to deviate from th epoint for a bit....is when 'foriegners' live here and do nothing but complain about the uk and our ways, traditions and the weather....I've seen that a lot. The uk offers these people a lot they dont have 'back home' or they would not be here I guesss...so my thoughts are...if you're going to just take and winge, instead of contribute ( and many many do contribute) then either shut up or pack up.

Well said, BOAB, it does my nut in as well!
I always cut short my fellow immigrants when they start with this carry on, weather, food, too much alcohol, bla bla bla.
They conveniently forget their village of origin, no jobs, no houses, heck, no buses! Ha ha: no tax credits, no 5 minutes open a bank account/get an official document/apply for a driving license.
Nobody is keeping anybody here by force.
Exception: people that came here from war thorn countries and can't go back.

Sorry but although you're not very good at English sentences, you actually said that you're more British than others.

Taking it out of context thats fine. Yeah I am more British than someone who is not from Britain so what suck it up.

How did I take it out of context? That was the entirety of the post, there was no context to go with it.

So are you more British than I am? As pointed out a lot of my ancestors are not from these Isles (although I'm willing to be substantial amounts of money that the same can be said of yourself). However I'm English, proud to be English and proud to welcome to these shores any person who is willing to contribute to the ongoing success/survival of this nation.

Have I said in a post "Martin I am more British than you?" other than here. No so making assumptions again about your British status and now your wealth. Just as you are proud to be English I am too proud to say I am British. I am more than happy for others to come to our shores who contributes to our country but I do not expect or want our cultural heritage to have to be adjusted for them.

You're more British than others but refuse to define who those "others" are. If not me, User? Are you more British than him?

It will adjust itself naturally, given time. The other way around too: the foreigners of today will produce proud british in a generation or two.
