I have gas central heating but can’t really afford it, this will be my 5th winter without heating at he moment my lounge and bedroom temp is only 13 degrees
It is not too cold yet, I still have my window open and no heating in my room.
I much prefere to wear a decent jumper then heating the entire house up

I've only got a gas fire in the lounge, but I don't switch it on often. I'm currently lying on the floor in the bedroom with my coat and woolly hat on. Yesterday evening I put my fingerless gloves on too. I had to get up in the middle of the night to put on another blanket, and I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Still, at least I can't see my breath, which I can some mornings.

What you all need is a modern house - well insulated, efficient double glazing, condensing boiler.... Costs next to nothing to heat, heats up quickly, and stays warm for hours after the thermostat's turned the boiler off. It stays cool in summer too!

I don't like modern houses, they remind me cardboard boxes, only a cardboard box has more character. I like nice old houses, the only downside is they can be cold and start falling apart after about 100 years.

I'm still riding in shorts, and have just got back from a 22 miler in the dark. I'm lovely and warm.

Going for a long soak in a bubble bath soon.

Nice, I'm still :becool: but with toothache to boot. Thinking about going to bed soon:tired:
