I thought that would be your next move Jane, although no idea when. My old road bike that you may or may not remember is still languishing in my garage along with .... and .... and ... and the freezer and dryer! No room for cars there. You must have absorbed some passive cycling from me in your former years?
Have as much fun looking for your bike as riding it and go and see a lot!
I've got semi slicks on my lightweight Orange Clockwork as I bought it to use as a road bike.

I was a bit mad Jane, I'd just been brought up to it from a child as you know, it was just a progression. I still enjoy what I do but it's a shame that there's no-one around here to cycle with.
I was in Evans cycles the other week and saw a beautiful road bike, just my size, very obviously a girl's bike & gorgeous. I'm not buying one though! Am still trying to think of something to put at the end of my posts!
