REME - Excellent. My son was in REME as a helictopter tech until recently. He was a sergeant and his training set him up for a good job with Sembmarine SLP in Lowestoft. Another nephew is a Captain REME, another nephew in AAC and the third is in Coldstream Guards. The army can set you up for life if you take everything on offer.REME

Absolutely! My daughter was a musician with the Blues and Royals for 10 years, her husband is a farrier with the same regiment and he's in for the full time. She left because of her two little boys but she has had a brilliant time, playing for the Royal family in various palaces and for the Trooping of the Colour, abroad in places such as Saudi Arabia, Germany, Austria etc.REME - Excellent.
