There's hardly any snow at all.

The beer is very nice though!

Then I'd stay there if I were you...

Just driven from Eindhoven to Dusseldorf, slightly snowy here but only 0 degrees. -6 Yesterday in Holland.... Brrrr

Beer? Nice? In Scotland? Are you sure you're drinking beer and not Euro-fizz? Proper beer is not easy to find in Scotland and most bars stock only a selection of over-chilled fizz.

I think they just make it up to look hard.

Spot on, beautiful sunny day, not a cloud in the sky - I'm almost having a Fotherington-Thomas moment!

Anyway I've sorted them out so my work here is done, off back down the posh bit now.

And Mr Globalti, there are lots of excellent breweries in Scotchland. I don't do euro-fizz!!

The ground is still covered in snow here in Livingston. It is a beautiful sunny day right now, I admit.
And there is good beer to be found in Scotland!

Mum returned from a coach break to snow-less Fort William on Sunday... she reported wonderful weather!

Couldn't agree more! Nothing on hand-pump in my local so they don't get any business from me.

Might have been true 20-30 years ago when all you could get was Tennent's lager and McEwans Export, but nowadays - Belhaven Best, Caley 80, Deuchars IPA etc etc on tap from most pubs, not to mention the bottled stuff from a host of micro-breweries lends the lie to that. In fact, the statement that "all you get in Scotland is Euro-fizz" is a fundamentally and frankly laughably untrue statement. To use a Scottish turn of phrase....it's pish.

There's not much snow round where I live but judging from the news this morning the north of Scotland had it bad.
