Oh and don't get me started on the halogen candle bulbs. Cost a fortune and blow on a regular basis. Energy saving my ar$e.

Got energy saving bulbs in most rooms byt might look at the new LED candle bulbs.

Just buy bulbs from Poundworld.Last ages too.

Loads now are soft white, so about 2500 on the scale rather than 5000 which is a bit 'white/blue' ! The older 'energy bulbs' have been too white, but they work OK within a lamp shade !!

Most of my house is now on LED. The 50W GU10 halogens were replaced with Phillips 3W LED, 2700k colour temp so really nice, and on BOGOF at Sainsburys a couple of years back so not too dear. 40W incandescent candles have been replaced with 4W LED's from IKEA, seem OK so far...
I think the light in the oven uses more than all the rest in the kitchen now:rolleyes:
