I'm Off!

Hi folks

I'm packed and ready for the first long trip on a bent. My mates and I catch the bike express tomorrow morning. It drops us south of Calais and we intend to ride to the coast to Brittany then turn south to hopefully reach the Spanish border taking in Bordeaux and the bit of the Canal du Garonne we didn't do last time. I'm using my ICE Q26. I'll let you know how I got on on my return. I'm a little anxious about how I will do (My mates are on DF's) but more excited by the prospect of doing something different. Even if they drop me on the climbs (there are'nt that many), I'll try not to gloat in the afternoons as their bums necks and wrists deteriorate!

don't gloat. over the top sympathy is much More infuriating and point out the inflatable rings in the seaside shops
