I am waiting for my employer to get it sorted, which wil be happening before the end of the financial year. I am also looking at a fixed with Condor Tempo looking like the favourite at the moment.

Good choice Noodley. This was originally top of my list, but the 2009 model went up another £50 compared to the 2008 model and once I had added guards + better tyres it was starting to look expensive, especially as I have never ridden fixed before and have no idea how I will get on with it.

Still there is always next years C2W scheme .

The missus is OK about me going for it.... it will probably £40 a month, which is a bargain.

Getting that expenditure proposal past the financial committee is always the hardest part.................. Took me a while to get mine signed off.
