I would go for the trek good frame to start upgrading on parts later on

the trek and giants are both great bikes, but dont rule out the Orbeas

How can you advise without that info?

I don't know what you want to do with it either, but try to testride them all and pick the one that fits best. No point in having a great bike if it doesn't fit you properly. If you go for the trek, I'd go for the 1.5, it's got the same frame as the higher models in the range, the 1.2 is a different frame.

Planning a few Audax rides and some cyclosport rides and ride the bike good and proper. I'm planning to try before i buy
