Someone I've known for years saw a van. Others on the thread searched for the same van and corroborated her story. Naturally you must assume both me and her are lying, I trust my friend, if you don't and if it bothers you tremendously call the firm and ask them about it.

Provide quotes of these corroborations (or anything else useful) to save anyone having to read through all of the dross, with the exception of possibly manipulated image which originated from a random post made at a dubious source (of which I am not going to trawl through), all I could see was a few people jabbering about nothing and pretending to be offended!

It seems to be you who is particularly bothered by this, you did create this thread after all!

Exactly, stickers are (generally) flexible, so why in the image do they appear not conformed to the surface to which they are adhered?

I am not claiming your friend is lying, I am claiming that the image posted (which did not originate from your friend), may indeed be a manipulated image and if it is, it could be considered as an act of libel. In fact, I can not even see in that thread where your friend acknowledged that the van in the image was indeed the one she had seen!

is my friend's husband, Pete. He left behind a two year old daughter.

Seeing a van with what appears to be pleasure in injuring people onthe side of it, joking or not, is not manufactured outrage. I am personally offended.

So, please stop trying to imply she's lying about seeing the van, I know her, you don't. She's seen the van. You haven't.
