Imports?

Hi all,
I'm currently looking for a new bike and have more or less chosen a Cannondale SuperSix Evo Hi Mod which is hugely cheaper in the US so I was wondering if it's possible to import a bike from the US to UK and if so what sort of costs are involved?

I think import taxes will be around 30%, plus of course shipping and insurance costs and the handling charge the courier companies charge

So it may not be so much cheaper, especially if you seek out an older model.
