Impossible road signs

my favorite silly sign... or rather pair of signs, on a short local suburban path.

At one end :

And at the other end of the path ... all of 20 metres away

IIRC the Portobello Promenade has or had conflicting signs like that.

I don't have a photo but if you go to France via the Portsmouth > Caen ferry, one of the first roundabouts you will encounter IIRC has a sign: 1st exit "Toutes Directions" 2nd "Centre Ville" 3rd "Autres Directions" You can't go wrong really.
