Cheers.

Not the lightest bike I've ever owned but back in the day I've raced on heavier with half the number of gears and pitiful brakes, so in my "Comfortable years" it's more than good enough. The spoke reflectors, pie dish and valve adornments were in the bin within ten minutes of unpacking.

Valve adornments?

Valve adornments?

Dust caps? Is that yet another velominati rule I'm breaching then?

apparently so.
Rule #60 // Ditch the washer-nut and valve-stem cap.
You are not, under any circumstances, to employ the use of the washer-nut and valve-stem cap that come with your inner-tubes or tubulars. They are only supplied to meet shipping regulations. They are useless when it comes to tubes and tires.

What a load of bollix.

I'm going to France tomorrow (unrelated to the box) We need to know....

Didn't get to know before I got to France. Turns out it's hot... Too hot for riding. Pretty though.

I have made note I wasn't informed of the contents of the box. Paperwork or lack of thereafter precludes the aforementioned box from being at fault. Since I'm a few beers (french) into the evening, you hold consider this a warning only. Taunting you'd fellow cc members us a golly bad show and should stop forthwith.

I must protest in the strongest terms at the lack of pictures.
