In Paris for the tour finish

Hi
I'm on my way to camp in the south and thought I might stop off and watch the finish of the tour on he Sunday. I was just bout. Book he hotel for the Sunday night n wondered if ill be able to drive into Paris on Sunday morning or if roads will be closed? Has anyone got any advice for a single nigh stop? Should I perhaps stay two nights and go on Saturday?

Paris like London is so big that the TdF doesnt make much of a difference even though bits are closed off. One idea would be to be book a hotel close to a Suburban station eg. Versailles (which is quite nice in its own right and you'd be able to get a decent evening meal there) and train/metro it in to Paris. Slightly cheaper hotels, easier/safer to park and you avoid driving in Paris.
