Pleased to say Rhubarb-intra-Dimpa came down onto the luggage carousel at Gatwick completely unscathed after its journey home from Copenhagen. Oddly this wasn't the case with the outbound journey using sendmybag. Norwegian would have transported it for £38 if I had needed to ship it over and above my normal two bag 20kg per bag allowance,

Mine travels very comfortably in one of these, which has plenty of room (and weight capacity) for extra foam:

The BikePod didn't fare quite as well – made three trips before it was destroyed (though the bike was thankfully fine).

I love having my Brompton with me when travelling.

Though I wouldn't bother with Hong Kong next time, unless I had enough time to get out of the city.

That http://www.bike-cases.co.uk/product-foldon-box.php looks like an excellent bit of kit and I'll be following up on it I think. Bit more robust than a Dimpa double lined with corrugated cardboard and a bubble wrap encased B. Thank you for sharing.
