Had my spec competition disc stolen a couple of months ago and have been using the synapse for work I don't like using my road bike at peak hour due to having to swerve round all the potholes. I didn't want another named bike as the folks round the area are quite good at names so I bought a canull (I don't know much about them either)Full deore xt spec, discs and an rst m-29 air fork all for £500 I figured if I don't like it I could break it up and sell it for the price I paid.
I took it for a ride and it's actually quite nice a nicer ride than the specialised but no mudguards. After messing about on the web trying to find a solution I finally went the way of cable ties it's not the prettiest job but it doesn't look so bad from a distance. so to the guy who invented cable ties I salute you and I wish I had invented them

Don't just make cable ties any more, they bought the company I work for last year and we make heaters!

They and amalgamating tape are essential kit to have in your armory you can do so much with them.AM tape gives a better platform for securing stuff like lights ect its a rubber compound and protects the frame too.
