I see a lot of Ryanair at Limoges airport. They do seem to give passengers with disabilities a good service. I think their big problem is the image fostered by O'Leary and their website - I've often wondered why Ryanair planes don't tow those banners with advertising slogans on - O'leary is missing a trick there.

Barnet,
I have flown with Easy Jet several times, and I can't praise them high enough. I got stuck in Portugal because of snow at Luton airport. They put me up in a 4* hotel for 2 nights all meals included. The first flight back to Britain was going to Bristol as Luton was still under snow. A taxi picked me up from Bristol to get me back to Luton, still all paid for by EJ. I got the driver to drop me home as he was passing within 2 miles of home.
I have travelled once by Ryan Air. It was OK. I flew to Venice, Treviso which isn't actually near Venice, but it was near to where I wanted to go.

I've flown with Ryanair several times and found them perfectly ok. You get a basic service at a basic price. That is all I want from a holiday flight, so I am more than happy to have my ticket price kept low by Mr O'Leary devising ever more inventive ways to subsidise it with optional fees (like priority check-in aka Vanity Tax).

A lot of the whining about Ryanair seems to come from people who expect to be fawned over like M & S customers. Well don't expect to be flown to Sardinia for 38p return plus taxes, then - and I have been.

From what I can see there's not many routes that only Ryanair service. People who choose the cheaper option should then not be expecting a more exclusive service.

Yes, there's often bits added as you go thorugh the purhcasing process but you still have the choice to back out before you press Go for payment. There are many extra payments which when you think about it are fair (paying more for extra weight luggage, paying more for a person to check you in rather than online, paying more for credit cards which charge them commission). I'd rather pay for what I use than pay more for subsidising a one-price-suits-all policy.

They're also great with kids as we get on first. So, they're extremely popular and if you don't like their service, pay for someone else, many people do.

He's not. He's currently looking at carrying advertising on the body of the planes.

I'm booked to fly with Easyjet next week and to be fair I think they are slowly remarketing themselves away from Ryannair. As BA have lowered their standards a little on short haul, Easyjet are raising there's to meet them half way. Hence you can reserve a particular seat online etc. And 20kg (although you have to pay for it) is a generous amount of hold luggage.

Flight number, for tracking purposes. See if your flight disappears!
