...detailing.

No I have not taken leave of my senses and suddenly fallen in love with space lemon garments.

This season's must have street clothing ranges from a whole gamut of Nordic designers have hi-viz detailing. Bindings, edging and, especially, zips in lime, yellow and orange.

The Nordics eschew colourful clothing as a general rule. Everyone wears black, white in summer, or fifty shades of gray. (Apart from male Swedish peacocks who like a vibrant coloured pocket square.) When I come back to the UK my optic nerves ache as soon as I get on the train at Gatwick because of all the colourful clothes people wear.

I know own a vey nice Mads Norgaard cardigan with a flouro-orange zipper. tlh will hate it.

Picture doesn't do justice to the eyeball searing-ness of the zipper

When I had cause to go to SVG, the dark clothing thing was, indeed, a thing. But people augmented it with twirly reflective discs, attached to the coat in the manner of a fob watch, and produced from a pocket when the wearer was going outside. I've got a Phillips Petroleum branded one somewhere.

Not seen that here yet. But I suspect the Danes are all home before it gets dark with candles lit all Hygge-stylee and cosy-like. And, of course, all bikes are fitted with lights.
