Yes a good chap! I like his collaborations with Show of Hands - who are among my favourites.

I'm at adds with the praise voiced here. I found Lakeman to be tedious and robotic when I saw him perform at the O2 Academyat Leeds two or three years ago. After the sixth number, all subsequent tunes performed appeared to be permutations of the first half dozen.

I was seriously underwhelmed by the gig.

He partially redeemed himself at Solfest the same year but my judgement was impaired by a variety of intoxicants and I'm unwilling to say that he was much better than OK.

I can't speak for his past performances but he had the place rockin' on friday.

Having enjoyed last years gig I went to watch Seth again last night. This time it was in a field in Middlewich, he was the headline act in a music festival. The audience only numbered about 300 and was more bohemian. It wasn't Glastonbury but what a fantastic atmosphere and performance.
