Just thought I'd share this brief, unexciting yet mildly heartwrming anecdote:

I'd ordered some stuff from Wiggle but the numpty of a Postman somehow lost the box between his van and the sorting office. Brilliant - £80 worth of gear lost. I harassed the Post Office and, although I spoke to a helpful chap, was informed that he couldn't find the box because the driver who had deposited it (somewhere) was now on holiday in Ghana. Super.

I called Wiggle to check if the package had been returned - it hadn't. I waited a few more days and called them again to tell them the whole situation. However, since ten working days had passed and I had not received my package, they despatched another one for free - it arrived in two days.

Now, I know Wiggle can claim compensation from the Post Office, but I still thought this was good customer service. No hassle at all - I just called up and they sent my stuff to me. I wish the Post Office was a bit more efficient, though!

+1, it's no coincidence that they're one of the biggest online retailers.

I ordered a pair of new tyres from Wiggle on Monday evening. They were despatched first-thing Tuesday and arrived on Thursday. Postage was free, and as they'd sent me a £5 voucher to tempt me back to them (I hadn't placed an order for 9 months) the pair cost me £21. Bargain!

However, I think Chain Reaction have just beaten them. An inner tube and some brake pads arrived today, less than 24 hours after I ordered them.

I have had nothing but good service from them, their prices are reasonable and they deliver things quite quickly. I ordered a few things from them over the last few weeks and they get them to me in double quick time, usually around two working days after ordering.

I am currently waiting on a Carradice Lowsaddle bag from them which was dispatched on Thursday and hopefully will come over the weekend. Also had some DHB Earnley shorts off them this week, ordered on Sunday afternoon, they came on Wednesday.

Can't fault wiggle for their stock status or delivery speed, but the customer service is annoying me a bit at the moment. I got a bike just before Christmas and one part had been broken during their assembly. No problem wiggle say....we'll get a replacement part sent out to you. This is a model specific part which can only be sourced from the distributor, yet more than 3 weeks on from letting them know I have received nothing.

It is frustrating that when I email about it I get the same response that they will "chase it up with the distributor that day". I happen to know that the distributor has them in stock (got LBS to check) so it isn't them being slow. I wish wiggle would sort it with the distributor before emailing me back to confirm that they have ordered it.

I ordered a couple of half price bling bling bottle cages yesterday lunchtime and they arrives this morning. Can't ask for any more than that. Good product, great price, superfast delivery. And free sweets too. Well done Wiggle!

Cheaper they may be. But there's something to be said for patronising the LBS. They probably need your business.

I've never had a problem with them.
Whenever I order from them I always do it before
lunch and it always arrives next day.

I have always been very happy with the service I have received from Wiggle. Orders have always been received quickly and without fuss. But I only use it for items that I know I want, or like-for-like replacement parts. If I'm unsure about exactly what I need or I want to try something, e.g. gloves, clothes, I'll always go to one of my lbs. Bit more pricey obviously but you get the advice for free.

I love Wiggle i always look on their site first, then CRC. And judging by the amount of parcels i see at work (I'm a Royal Mail driver) I'd say Wiggle sell the most stuff.
