Indoor training - the Viz way

I remembered this from my youth and had to dig it up

Waaaiit a minute?! If the gentleman is pedalling forwards, the wheel will be entering the cleft from behind. So why are the dangleberries being ejected as if the wheel were turning the other way? THAT'S why Viz isn't as good as it used to be.

I'm afraid I've thought about this too much Bollo. If the gentleman had a lot of hefty clag to remove then what you see being ejected backwards could be the effects of the bristles breaking up, similar to the sparks from an angle grinder.

Unless I haven't thought about it enough and I'm not sure I want to.

It's obvious, (w)innit - you have to back pedal. And it has a three-speed Sturmey fixed hub - cool, and very sought after. These machines fetch a fortune on eBay.
