It'll be good. Band very tight, visuals awesome, excellent setlists on the tour so far. It was a blast last night.

It was about as awesome as it gets. So good we're thinking of going again tomorrow night :hyper:

How about that light show? That transparent light up curtain screen thing was amazing, and I've absolutely no idea how it works

Yup, that was brilliant. They didn't have that stuff on the Wave Goodbye tour. Bit different to the setup from the Tension tour of the US/Canada last autumn too.
Two NIN shows in a row? Good idea

Sounds like some sort of gauze cloth. Light it from the back its see through, light it from the front and make the area behind dark and its not:thumbsup:.

I'm not sure that's it - it didn't look projected onto, more like an actual screen, and a pretty high res one at that. Here it is just hanging on the stage - you can see the drummer through it: 20140524_220246.jpg

And here it is all lit up:

Gonna try and get down the front tonight for a better look...

OK, so the second night was just as good as the first ^_^. Slightly different set, more electro based and new album stuff which kept it interesting. We were down in the pit this time which meant I could dance, which I did like a loon with a big grin on my face, much to the bemusement of the earnest goth types around me.

The curtain thing appears to be an LED matrix on a very fine mesh so as @Headgardener pointed out, when lit from behind you can see through it. It's actually less impressive from close up - you can make out all the pixels!

Final thought: Aren't gigs civilised affairs these days? No pushing or shoving, nobody off their head drunk, everybody nice and polite. Average age was probably about 30-40 though so maybe we're just getting old

Depends on the show...don't think any Slayer gig I've ever been to could be described as civilised
