The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Worth paying a little more (£2.50) and getting these. I always carry two spares (and glueless patches, and glue and patches, just in case!), change tube and repair at home.

Only used innertube shop as knew no better and was directed there by a thread on here.
Looks like I need to do more research when I come to purchase some more.

@bigup

Michelin A1 Airstop Butyl Inner Tube: 95 grams

Michelin Aircomp Latex Road Inner Tube: 75 grams

Michelin Aircomp Ultra Light Inner Tube (52mm Valve): 70 grams approx

Planet X Lightweight Inner Tube (60mm valve): 76 grams

I messed up my order and received all lightweight tubes, so cannot do a comparison between the standard and lightweight. Ordered on Monday evening, arrived first thing this morning...can't be bad.

thats one awesome post mate, thanks :smile:

the planet x lightweight at 76g is pretty good for the price, I think i will order a few as backup

thanks again!

You're most welcome :smile:

Yeah, 76g is a decent weight. Considering you're gonna pay anything from 3-4 times that price for a Michelin inner tube and save a only a few grams, it can't be bad.

What tyres are you running?
