Inner tube size?

I’ve trcently purchased a bike and on the wall it shows 40-622. I know the tyres are 40mm wide. I need to know what size inner tubes to buy. Thanks

a 700c one that covers 40mm in its range..eg

One that includes 40 and 622 in its size ranges. Ignore all the old-fashioned markings about 700c or 28". Too many ways to go wrong there.
