Oh dear,again i wonder why im quoted with this er threat,and not the ones who started the baiting when they misread a post?

So why qoute me if im not worth the ammo,why not a multiple quote of the perps?Because quoting an individual can seem like that you know

A few weeks ago I had a very close pass approaching a bend, oncoming traffic, 30mph zone, slightly down hill, I was probably doing over 25, the numpty gained so much from it that I was still behind him 1/2 mile later, when he pulled into his drive. For a second I thought about stopping and pointing out the error of his ways, a moment later I was past his drive and trying to consider what I would gain from it, denial at best, probably a mouthful of abuse and at worst one of us would be in A&E. I am not afraid of confrontations but I don't go seeking them.

In that case, you have the ideal method. Note the address and send a short note (addressed to "the driver of the <insert type of car>, just in case it was a visitor) telling them what they did wrong. Not only can you be anonymous ("a cyclist"), you can take your time and write a measured, polite letter, as opposed to trying to reason verbally when you are high on adrenaline.

Unless you think the person might then take out a vendetta on every cyclist they see. An alternative, not effective on them, but satisfying for you, is a voodoo doll....

I'm having trouble understanding why I would be safer not preventing motorists from trying to overtake where it's obviously too dangerous to overtake. Would I be better off letting them scrape past at traffic islands or just before a blind summit so they can swerve into me when the oncoming vehicle appears? Or should I be letting them do this because the extra 5 seconds of their journey is more important than my physical wellbeing? I shall have to rethink my road positioning as I've got it all wrong.

No you havnt,when its needed primary is a good safe position.Its just that some on here can sometimes cause more problems with primary than not,and because iv questioned this they seem to like making out that im a primary hater because iv dissagreed with them before.
