Maybe this has been on here already but haven't seen it. Just read this and feel very humble complaining about my lack of fitness at the mere age of 53!

The headline is a bit misleading - he's 'smashed the record' because he's the first person to do it.
He got the 'hour record' last year, because they invented a new category for him. That doesn't mean he's not an amazing human being and an example to us all though. I think he only took up cycling when he was 67!! He's often featured and interviewed on the TV over here - wonderful old guy.

Doing 100km at 100 years old is amazing to me. I haven't even done that yet, it is one of my goals for the coming year.
