Riding through town last night I noticed a BMW estate at the side of the road, indicating to pull out. Although there was a gap in the traffic behind me, it was obvious from his 'body language' that he was just going to pull out in front of me. (This might have had something to do with the fact that he was on double-yellows/zigzags outside the chippy, so probably didn't want to hang about.) Anyway, I was prepared for it and he did put his foot down so it was a chunter-under-the-breath, rather than a shout-a-mouthful-of-abuse, moment.
Revenge was swift though, because as he floored it to get out of the way, the tailgate of the car popped open and his laptop case crashed into the middle of the road.
I suppose I could have stopped to pick it up...
