I think any driver killing ANYONE should have a mandatory life sentence. Yes, even if it's not their fault at all.

Not fair? Maybe. But the risk of going to jail for life would be no greater than the risk of killing someone. If you're happy with the odds of the second you should be happy with the odds of the first.
