Insurance and Bike Cave question

Hi All,

Im going to purchase a new bike shortly and will be taking out some insurance to cover the bikes.

I was looking at the bike cave as a suitable tent like structure to store the bikes.

My house is end of terrace and the garden where the bike cave is, is secure enough in that its not accessible without doing some major wall jumping.

Do people think this is a silly idea or can they suggest something else without it costing the earth.

Most insurance companies wouldn't say that is acceptable storage. Is it not possible to get a garden shed or store the bikes in the house somewhere? A spare room or passage way?

Yes agreed the new bike is in the new shed and the bike tent houses the commuter and kids bikes, although the commuter is nearly as much as my new bike so might get them both covered on the policy
