Typical!! Best weather for quite a while and was planning a couple of earlyish rides yesterday & today, (I'm working late shifts ATM) then an off-roader with friends tomorrow.
I woke up yesterday morning with a real backache. Luckily, I don't normally suffer from back problems, but this has really laid me out! This morning is just the same. It took me 5 mins 'unlock' myself and get moving.
It's darn painful as well! Whenever I stand up, it feels like my legs are about to give way.

Grrrrrrrrrrr

There was a charity ride on a few months back and I was planning to do the long route, the Friday before I tweaked my back and ended up doing the short route slowly:angry: its a sod when that happens.

Man I really feel for you.
I did my back in last week lifting some heavy stuff. I was going to go camping this week but at the moment I struggle to get out of bed let alone cycle 50+ miles and pitch a tent

I hope your back (and mine!) get better quickly!

It's so easy to do, isn't it... and it takes a while to get back to normal as well. Hope yours sorts itself out soon.
I tend to keep away from tablets as much as possible as I reckon that it masks the pain so you can end up sitting/laying in an awkward position & when the tabs wear off it's much worse.
I've improved a bit but nowhere fit enough to cock my leg over a crossbar yet :headshake:

Thanks for the virtual grapes and Lucozade folks..

There's a serious bit of synchronicity going on here. My wife keeps telling me off for not taking pain killers/anti inflammatories but I also hate taking tablets.
Spooky
