I get the seat tube to 53cm and effective top tube to 55cm horizontal (54cm sloping)

Am i right in thinking that BSA is a the std bottom bracket style threading ?

Yep, standard i.e. drive side tightens anti-clockwise, non-drive side tightens clockwise
