Hi, my name is Russell. I started cycling a very long time ago, just as soon as I could fall off a bike! I remember the incident well, I was about 5 yrs old.
A lot of my cycling in the recent past has been on my Brompton folding bike and a genuine Dutch 3-speed stepover with rear Coaster brake - very interesting experience!
I've more or less stopped using the Brompton now - the small diameter wheels need a lot of agile riding and I think I'm too old now for that kind of riding. I've also got an original Raleigh Magnum 23" frame sports tourer that needs some dedicated care and attention. So, if anyone reading this also has one and would like to share their refurb experience, please get in touch
