All this street furniture really gets in the way when I'm bombing along on my bike

It was mildly annoying to have to have to slow down on a joint user path in order to "squeeze" past a sign directed at road users with the message End of Road Works We Regret Any Inconvenience.... As traffic on the joint user path had not been inconvenienced by the roadworks up to this point I felt a complaint to the roads authority was justified, and to give them their due, they did accept the error of their ways and removed the sign quite smartly.
I haven't seen a recurrence of this sort of nonsense since.
