Agreed, taptalk is fantastic, and that's coming from someone with a loooong history of software and usability development.

Because iPhones love to connect to the widely-available but consistently-useless BT wifi hotspots otherwise!

+1 Strava... it's great to not only log your rides but compare with others. The segment idea is a belter - although makes me too tired getting to work and back!

Here's another vote for Strava. Just drew a route on Endomondo, exported it to import into Strava.
There was no elevation data so Strava worked it out from map data. Very nice!

ive just joined strava and downloaded the app onto my iphone c how it compares to map my ride so will use it next time im out for a ride

Planning routes Cycle streets and for speed calories etc endamondo and strava is good as well
