Sorry if this has been asked previously, but what is the best (in your opinion) iPhone app for cycling.

Ideally, I want;
Total distance
Average speed
Gradience

Would be nice if it incorporated a top speed & calorific burn part too.

Currently, I have tried MapMyRide and MapMyTracks (the latter being my fav so far)

Strava. It WILL get addictive though...

Strava is the best I've used. When you then get a Garmin GPS computer you can continue using it.

It does use a lot of battery on your iPhone though.

The best i have found is ridewithgps, gives more detail info, create maps, with detailed route info for garmins not sure about other routing system, even turn directions and road names, though you do need to plan it and up load it to the gps unit.
Its got a neat feature where you can race yourself or others over sections (thats like strava, though not as popular).

I do find Strava very good. I have a samsung phone(galaxy s2) and the battery is fine using Strava.

I currently use RunKeeper because I started using it years ago and have an investment in all my stats being within my account. Despite the name 'RunKeeper' you can use it for most activities, or plug in manual data if you wasn't using the GPS (e.g. stationary bike/turbo etc). You can also upload data from your Garmin etc.

I admit I haven't tried Strava yet so can't unfortunately comment on the comparing the two.

i recommend a back up battery/charger for the iPhone otherwise the GPS eats the battery very quickly - Veho Pebble has worked well for me.
