iPlayer/4OD Abroad?

Can it be done? I'm thinking of my sanity and the physical health of my toddler son if he were to go without Cbeebies for two weeks whilst in Turkey.

I seem to recall that the las time I tried it when working in France the foreign IP address was recognised and access blocked. Is this still the case? (I assume for copyright reasons etc etc)

DVD's are an option as he's obsessed with Brum and we have oodles of that on DVD but his other obsession is some strange new fangled prog that only toddlers are able to understand and whilst I would let him go cold Turkey.... I love him, it's his hol too and a little indulgence won't turn him in to a Politician over night...will it???
